First Day of Winter..Florida Not Participating

Well not the first day of winter, but a week or two before I met up with my co worker and friend in Fort Myers, Florida. She was visiting to look at some houses and invited me to come along. I was super excited to visit. I’ve never been to any part of Florida at that point.
After viewing some houses we ended up going to a nearby beach. I can’t remember the name of the beach but I believe it was either Bunche beach or fort myers beach. We shared a bottle of wine over girl talk and took pictures. Later in the night we went for drinks at Celsius Night Club

Funny Memorable Moments
The Airbnb gone wrong. It was not well kept, expired food in the fridge, ants on the counter, dust balls under the bed and the fact I was going to be a team player and willing to sleep there in the name of friendship for my friend! LOL (I let her make the call and she backed out).
My friend and I super drunk – the night ended with me just as drunk as her but I managed to hold her hair while she was shamefully bent over the toilet. because I’m a real one.
My first and last Ramada hotel, there were live and dead bugs in the room. We booked a one night stay but we didn’t even stay a quarter of the night – I haven’t completely dried from my shower, that’s how fast we left that damn hotel lol I hate bugs! and I mean I should of known not to expect much of our room, the bugs practically welcomed us outside the door.

Trying to salvage our last night as far as places to sleep – doing my research I found LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples. Very expensive darling – Not really, we stayed on our last night so it wasn’t much money split between us lol. I’m so glad we ended up staying there because it was perfect! Walking into our room it was so clean and pretty and no bugs. We had an oceanfront room only steps away from the beach. I left the balcony door open the whole night because that’s how peaceful and quiet it was.

I had delicious food down at restaurant within the hotel and sat out on the balcony for a bit enjoying the ocean views. The next morning I had breakfast and then we both walked to the beach for a couple hours soaking up all the sun for as long as we could before heading to the airport.
